  Looking for some R&R? This is the place! My husband and I spent a couple nights in late October and lucked-out with great weather, which was awesome because the outdoor spaces are amazing! The “terraces” are literal – there are multiple levels leading down to the beach offering a propane fire table and sitting area, double glider, dining table, and even a fire pit. It is beautifully landscaped, complete with a waterfall. We regretted not getting around to trying out the kayaks :(
  
  We totally fell in love with the spectacular ocean view. It made drinking our coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings truly special. We had no interest in turning on the flat screen TV. The holiday home is super clean, well-stocked, fully equipped, has high-end finishes, is tastefully decorated, and has an exceptionally comfortable bed.
  
  It is about a six-minute drive either North to Ladysmith or South to Chemainus – we greatly enjoyed our lunch at Ladysmith’s Wild Poppy Bistro and stretching our legs at Transfer Beach, and we had fun discovering the quaint little shops of Chemainus. Great location for exploring the island!
  
  Sue and Gerry are superb hosts that made us feel truly welcome. This place totally exceeded our expectations!
